Sheila Harris

I was born and bred in Dundee Scotland. My family moved to the north west of England when I was ten years old. After high school education I moved to London to pursue studies in English and Drama. My career developed as an actress/singer and an educator. I have always been passionate about words and literature from an early age.

More recently I have become a photographer while working for the National Trust in Formby helping to conserve red squirrels and other rare species on the magnificent north west coast.

I hope this blog will combine my interests and help you to experience my passion for words, music and photography.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes.
By the deep sea and music in its roar
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
— Lord Byron 1788-1824
